Tuition is based on traditional West African rhythms and each participant will learn an abundant range from simple to complex hand patterns and syncopation’s, taking one on a fascinating journey into the rich cultural exchange Epizo has to offer. The class is caters to all levels of experience from beginners to intermediate ad advanced.
We have top quality Guinean djembes for hire at $10 per day. We will also have available a set of duns duns if you wish to play. If you need to hire a djembe please let us know as you book in. Any one with endurance can drum for the dance class to really polish your drumming technique and enjoy the language of drum and dance…magical!
Drum Schedule

- first class is 1pm- 3pm
- Drum classes will take place MAIN HALL Complex .
OTHER DAYS:
- BREAKFAST 7.30 am
- morning class : 9 am – 10:30 am
- LUNCH 1pm
- afternoon class : 3 pm – 5 pm
- DINNER 7 pm
- then time to shower, relax and mingle with fellow students.
- There will be kora playing and story telling on some nights.
- SATURDAY 7th October there will be a performance party!
